I photographed Marmol Radziner's 'Desert House' for a Hasselblad H4D print display a couple of a weeks ago. This stunning prefab home, located in Desert Hot Springs, has been featured everywhere from the LA Times to Le Monde.
I just returned from the magnificent Amangiri resort in southern Utah. It's a one of two Aman resorts in the U.S., built into the stunning surroundings of Canyon Point. The shot above is of the amangiri suite, which features a private pool and outdoor dining & lounge area.
There's nothing better than a lazy Sunday afternoon at Topanga Beach... when it's 80 degrees and sunny inwinter. These portraits were taken with my Hasselblad 500C film camera. Yes, film.
Here's a peak behind the scenes of the #1 fine dining restaurant in the US. At 2:15 p.m. on Friday, the kitchen is bustling with activity in preparation for evening service. Chefs work in orchestrated stations to maximize space and ensure that everything looks and tastes like perfection. Dry ice starts to engulf the kitchen in a cloud, making it almost more interesting to be an onlooker in the kitchen than a guest in the main dining room.
More from Namibia....Dead Vlei is a very unique clay pan in the middle of the Namib desert. It's home to ancient camelthorn trees (above) that are 500-600 years old.
I landed on the cover of this week's Crains lifestyle section. The picture above was taken at Kulala Wilderness Camp in Namibia - the article talks about the allure of desert travel.
I was invited to speak at my alma mater, the University of the Arts, London last week. It was great to be in the newly designed school and meet all the hot young talent.
This month I shot NY Times best selling author, Jonathan Eig, for CS magazine. Jonathon's new book "Get Capone" launches this month. The book is based on never-seen-before government documents and letters written by America's most infamous gangster, Al Capone.
