Just got back... such a beautiful city!

Dead Vlei - Namibia

More from Namibia....Dead Vlei is a very unique clay pan in the middle of the Namib desert. It's home to ancient camelthorn trees (above) that are 500-600 years old.

SOM - Partners in Motion

This week we shot at one my favorite client's spaces: Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Eric shows off his best action hero pose above.

Sossusvlei, Namibia

Little Kulala lodge & an aerial shot of the Namib desert... more images coming soon!

Jill Paider featured in Crain's Business Journal

I landed on the cover of this week's Crains lifestyle section. The picture above was taken at Kulala Wilderness Camp in Namibia - the article talks about the allure of desert travel.

Le Corbusier's Villa Savoye - Poissy, France

One of the greatest architects of all time... I LOVE photographing his work.

The Homewood - Surrey, UK

Patrick Gwynne's former estate in Esher, Surrey.

Speaking at My Alma Mater in London

I was invited to speak at my alma mater, the University of the Arts, London last week. It was great to be in the newly designed school and meet all the hot young talent.

Jonathan Eig for CS

This month I shot NY Times best selling author, Jonathan Eig, for CS magazine. Jonathon's new book "Get Capone" launches this month. The book is based on never-seen-before government documents and letters written by America's most infamous gangster, Al Capone.

Jill Paider featured in Popular Photography

I was interviewed by Peter Kolonia, editor of Popluar Photography magazine, for a review on lighting equipment... above is the tear sheet from May's issue.

SOM's Bill Baker

We shot Bill Baker, Partner at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill for the cover of Civil Engineering magazine. Bill is the engineering genius behind the Burj Khalifa (see below).

Jill Paider's Photo Installation in the Burj Khalifa, The World's Tallest Building

My photo installation "At The Top Burj Khalifa" in Dubai is now open! The exhibition features life-size portraits of the top architects, designers and engineers behind the building: Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architects. (Installation images courtesy of gsmprjct.)

Sydney Opera House

This was one of my favorite interior shoots during the trip... I've always loved the structure of the Opera House.

Rose Seidler House - Wahroonga, Australia

This is an interior shot of the home built by Australia's favorite modern architect, Harry Seidler. He designed the home for his parents Rose & Max in 1948, and it remains an architectural gem managed by the Historic Houses Trust. I was fortunate enough to have great weather for shoot... the house has amazing natural light.

Lake Wakatipu - Queenstown, New Zealand

This is an aerial, medium format, cross-processed shot of Lake Wakatipu in New Zealand. The scenery is amazingly beautiful and I was lucky enough to capture it, despite having water logged my Hasselblad in a kayak (in this lake).

The Best of Montreal

I just returned from Montreal which I absolutely adore. Great people, architecture & food (foie gras, poutine.. need I say more?) Here are a couple of the highlights:

The Greenest Building in North America (Cirque du Soleil HQ):

Grand Bibliotheque du Montreal:

The Biosphere:

Schulich School of Music:

Favorite Restaurants:

1.) Le Cartet: A great breakfast place 2.) Lemeac: The best for classical French 3.) Le Trois Petits Bouchons: Amazing rustic French fare + hot waiters

Lunch with Madeleine Albright

Today I had the pleasure of attending a lunch featuring the one and only, Madeleine Albright. She spoke about her latest book, "Read My Pins," current world affairs and President Obama's receipt of the Nobel Peace Prize. Above is my signed copy of her memoir.

Garden & Home Magazine - South Africa

Here's a clip of our architecture spread from Garden & Home Magazine (South Africa), featuring the world renown firm - Stefan Antoni, Olmesdahl, Truen Architects (SAOTA).
